I can’t walk into my studio without an urge to create. The colors, the tools, and the fabric fuel my imagination. Whether for my part-time custom sewing business or my mixed-media art projects, I designed it to fit my personality, and it always inspires me to have a creative mindset.
When I first walk into the room, I’m greeted with my colorful art and motivational posters on a facing wall. Another part of the wall has clippings, sketches, and bits of inspiration I collected through the years. They serve as a visual reminder of possibilities I have yet to explore.
In front of the wall are my fabric bins, organized by color. I can imagine how a child feels in a room full of toys. I can get lost for hours playing with the beautiful textures and patterns and how I can mix and match designs.
As a Mixed Media Artist, I’m not limited to one medium. My studio holds everything I need, from sewing essentials to crafting tools. On another wall are three bookshelves that organize my supplies, including a Cricut machine, leather-making supplies, jewelry-making accessories, and more.
Inside this room is where my passion comes to life. Whether I’m designing for myself or creating a custom piece for a client, my studio is where I feel most like myself.
